On December 25, 8pm local time, a suicide bomb attack occurred in Beni City in North Kivu province, northeast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, caused at least 6 people were dead, including the attackers, and 13 people got injured.
Mr Sylvan, the governor of North Kivu(also as the spokesmen) said the attacker detonated a bomb at the entrance of a bar in downtown Beni while people were celebrating Christmas holiday.
After the attack, Beni government made a request via broadcast for people stay at home.
Some officials have accused the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF)of launching the attack, mentioned that ADF is one of the deadliest armed groups in this region, and the ISIS claims that ADF is their branch in Central Africa.
There are lots of local armed forces and outside anti-government forces in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and With complicated security situation, the DRC government began to impose martial law in North Kivu and Ituri provinces since the end of April this year.
