President Mnangaguwa Appreciate Chinese Government New Batch of Vaccines Assistance

On January 12, President Mnangaguwa of Zimbabwean delivered a TV speech at the presidential palace to express appreciation of Chinese government to assist Zimbabwe with a new batch of vaccines. He said that, at the critical moment, Zimbabwe is facing the fourth wave of COVID-19 epidemic and fighting against new challenge of Omicron. China's vaccines assistance  will be more helpful for Zimbabwean government dealing with the COVID-19.

It is reported that a new batch of vaccines assisted by China will successively arrive in Zimbabwe. China has provided vaccine assistance to Zimbabwe in many batches since February 2021 and Zimbabwean government has also ordered many batches of vaccines from China.

According to the data from Zimbabwe's Ministry of health shows that there are about 14 million people (data until Jan, 11th ) in Zimbabwean whole nation and of which 4.17 million had received at least one dose of vaccine, of which 3.19 million had completed two doses. More than 95% of the new crown vaccines vaccinated in this country are produced in China.
